Description

This course reflects the growing importance of logistics management and supply chain management within the world of business. It provides a fundamental understanding of the basic logistics concepts, emphasizing on the total system approach of managing all those activities involved in the efficient and effective forward and reverse flow and storage of goods, services, and related information between the point of origin to the point of consumption. In addition, it focuses on the identification of the relationships between logistics activities and corporate strategy and looks at how changing business conditions have impacted on the development of the sector.
