Description

This course serves as an introduction to management definitions, structure and functions and methods of managing the new workplace. It presents the structures and forms of business enterprises and the management environment. It explores how to manage the global environment and how to manage the organization in the era of globalization. Then, it tackles the management functions including organizational planning and goal settings, managerial decision- making, problem- solving and fundamental of organizing and leading. Topics include change and development, the production of goods and services, human resources management, leadership in organizations, the importance of control and tools of business in the service organizations.
