"July 2024" Webometrics Ranking of World Universities

H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) extends his sincere congratulations to all AASTMT Family members (Academic Staff Members, Employees and Students) on July 2024 Webometrics Ranking of World Universities that is considered to be one of the top 4 ratings for universities, where AASTMT has achieved a remarkable progress and reached the position of 1766 with the participation of 32000 international university, as AASTMT ranking in the current evaluation has been improved as compared to the position of 1877 in January 2024 evaluation, and jumped over 111 university at the level of international universities.

In the current evaluation, AASTMT ranking also achieved the following notable positions: 44 among 2060 universities in Africa; 20 among 702 universities in North Africa; 59 among 1366 universities in Arab countries; and 17 among 81 universities in Egypt's governmental and non-governmental universities.

In this regard, H.E. AASTMT President thanks and appreciates the members of "AASTMT Follow-Up Committee for Webometrics Ranking of World Universities", and praises their performance and efforts, as His Excellency expressed his gratitude for AASTMT on July 2024 Webometrics Ranking of World Universities.

It`s worth to mention that during "Webometrics Ranking of World Universities", the quality of educational services and research in higher education institutions all over the world were assessed, as the research activities of universities and academic staff members are evaluated, in addition to the presence of the University, its activities on Internet and its assess through external links to the website of the institution.
