AASTMT President Participation in the 5th Japan-Arab Economic Forum

The General Secretariat of the League of Arab States participated in the activities of the “Fifth Japan-Arab Economic Forum” that was jointly organized by the General Secretariat, in collaboration with the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and several other specialized organizations and entities. The forum was held during the period 10 - 11 July 2024, in Tokyo - Japan.

The forum was held for the purpose of further enhancing the economic relationship between Japan and Arab countries through cooperation in a wide range of areas including energy security, renewable energy, AI, emerging technology, innovation. H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) participated in the activities of the fifth session of the Forum, as part of the delegation of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States headed by H.E. Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit - Secretary General of the League of Arab States, with the participation of a number ministers and officials of Arab nations as well as Japan.
