Within the framework of the cooperation protocol between the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport represented by the College of Maritime Transport and Technology and the Maritime Survey Division of the Egyptian Navy, which includes cooperation in all scientific and research activities, today, February 26, 2023, the first course in marine surveying (professional diploma in surveying) was inaugurated. Maritime (CAT B)) and accredited by the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO), which is the only accreditation of its kind in Africa for this type of course And in the presence of both Mr. Dr. Raban / Mohi El Din Mohamed El Sayeh - Dean of the College of Maritime Transport and Technology, Mr. Major General Dr. / Ashraf El Assal - Head of the Marine Survey Division of the Egyptian Navy, and Mr. Major General Dr. / Mohamed Mohseb - Head of the Naval Research Division of the Egyptian Navy and Director of Operations and Projects at the company. 8 students from the Arab Republic of Egypt and India joined the course, and the course extends for 24 weeks, including theoretical and practical lectures, and a graduation project at the end of the course.
