The thirty-seventh regular session of the Executive Council of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport was held. Dr. Ismail Abdelghaffar Ismail, President of the Maritime Academy, presided over the session on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at the Academy's headquarters in the Smart Village, Cairo.
The session was attended by Mr. Mohamed Kheir, Director of the Organizations and Associations Department at the Arab League, and representatives from Arab countries.
Dr. Ismail Abdelghaffar, the President of the Academy, along with the visiting delegation, conducted an inspection tour of the headquarters, which included a visit to the Nanotechnology Laboratories at the Smart Village branch. He also provided a detailed explanation to the guests about the new Alamein branch using a model that showcased the administrative buildings, study halls, and lecture rooms in the branch. The council members were familiarized with the facilities and infrastructure of the branch.
Furthermore, the members of the Executive Council met with students who presented their graduation projects, which were highly acclaimed by the attendees.
