Professor. Alaa Mahmoud Morsy, Dean of Port Training Institute and Research and Consultation Center for the Maritime Transport Sector at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport, received a high-level delegation from the Libya Trade Network of the brotherly State of Libya. The delegation included Mr. Tawfiq Nael, Director of International Relations and Cooperation, Mr. Omar Al-Tetawy, Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs of the Trade Network, and Mr. Bashir Badi, General Manager of the Trade Network's Central Region Branch in Misrata.
The meeting was attended from the institute by Mr. Ihab Hamdy, Director of Financial Affairs, Dr. Jamal Abdel Nasser, Director of Training and Education, Dr. Essam El-Din Moustafa, Head of the Marketing and Unplanned Programs Departments, and Mr. Mahmoud Farhat, Executive Secretary of the Dean's Office. During the visit, ways to deepen mutual cooperation in training and education were discussed. The visit also included an inspection tour of the integrated simulation complex at the ports, workshops, and specialized laboratories.
A cooperation agreement was signed between the two parties, aiming to implement joint workshops in the brotherly State of Libya. This comes within the framework of the regional role played by the Port Training Institute in qualifying Arab human resources in the field of ports and maritime transport.
