Dean of Port Training Institute Visit Marsa Maroc Company in the Kingdom of Morocco
The Dean of Port Training institute, Prof. Alaa Mahmoud Morsy, accompanied by Mr. Ihab Hamdy, the financial administration director, visited Marsa Maroc company in the Kingdom of Morocco. As part of the institute's efforts to enhance distinguished relations with port and maritime transport companies in Morocco, a meeting was held with the presence of Mr. Saeed El Sabai, the director of the training and human resources department, Mr. Mansour Khaled, the director of the general cargo terminal at the company, Mr. Tawfiq Shahir, the director of the container terminal port at the company, and Mr. Tarek Hamam, the head of the human resources department at the company, and Mr. Zakaria Sharabi, the director of human resources at Soma Port, the Moroccan partner of CMA CGM.
The purpose of the visit was to discuss collaboration opportunities for training the company's crane operators using simulators. A presentation was given about the simulator complex for cranes and trucks, which is considered the latest in the Middle East and Africa.
It's worth mentioning that Port Training Institute possesses a set of advanced simulators for cranes and trucks, training operators on various types of port cranes under different conditions. This contributes to enhancing skills and reducing error rates as part of the institute's role in qualifying and developing Arab human resources
