Visit of a delegation from Borg El Arab Technological University to Port Training Institute.
Within the effort to open new avenues of collaboration between Borg El Arab Technological University, Port Training Institute received a delegation from the university on Thursday, July 27, 2023. The delegation was headed by Professor . Mohamed Morsy El-Gohary, university's president, Professor. Ibrahim Mahmoud El-Faham, Dean of the Faculty of Industry and Energy, and Dr. Nahal Al-Azali, a lecturer in the Information Technology program at the Faculty of Industry and Energy.
The delegation was welcomed by Professor. Alaa Mahmoud Morsyi, Dean of Port Training Institute, and seniors officials at the institute. The guests were then escorted to the meeting hall.
The meeting commenced with a warm welcome to the distinguished guests, followed by discussions on areas of mutual cooperation between Port Training Institute and Borg El Arab Technological University in the fields of training and education. A presentation was given to showcase the institute's capabilities.
The guests were also taken on a tour of various laboratories and workshops, as well as the ports equipment simulator complex and the electronic management laboratory, were a meeting was held with students enrolled in the basic seafarer studies program.
The esteemed delegation praised the institute's capabilities and development in the training domain.
This visit is part of Port Training Institute's commitment to establishing strong partnerships with various technological universities to expand the provision of its training services for the qualification and training of human resources in the field of ports and maritime transportation.
