Nigerian Inland Waterways Authority delegation at AASTMT
Within the framework of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) keenness on always looking forward to new future horizons, AASTMT welcomed a delegation from the Nigerian National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) headed by Chief Dr. George Moghalu - National Inland Waterways Authority’s Managing Director during the period from 8 – 10 August 2023, where the delegation met a group of AASTMT senior officials in the African and Asian affairs sector.
It is worth noting that the delegation visited AASTMT Planetarilum Center, College of Maritime Transport and Technology Simulation Complex, Integrated Simulators Complex, Maritime Safety Institute and Industry Service Complex at AASTMT AbuKir Campus. As, the delegation visited AASTMT Maritime Research and Consultation Center and Port Training Institute during the activities of the second day. During the activities of the third, H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President welcomed the delegation at AASTMT Alamein Campus, on Thursday 10- 8- 2023, and they discussed various means of cooperation in areas of common interest, then the delegation had a tour at AASTMT Alamein Campus, and visited AASTMT Alamein Campus College of Dentistry and the dental Clinics, College of Pharmacy, College of Medicine, and College of Artificial Intelligence, where they praised the Campus that is unique in terms of the technology used and the various facilities provided to support the educational process.
