"Vice President of ICOMOS - Egyptian Minister of Environment” at AASTMT Heliopolis Campus
Within the visit of Her Highness Princess Dana Firas - Vice President of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) to the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), HRH Vice President of ICOMOS visited AASTMT Heliopolis Campus, on Thursday 22- 2- 2024. H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President and AASTMT officials welcomed Her Highness in the presence and honor of H.E. Dr. Yasmine Fouad - Egyptian Minister of Environment.
During the visit, Her Highness, Vice-President of ICOMOS, and Her Excellency the Minister of the Environment, had an inspection tour at AASTMT Heliopolis Campus, and praised AASTMT advanced mechanisms of study and keenness to establish new disciplines according to the latest scientific standards. Then, they participated in the activities of the scientific session that was held on (preserving and restoring heritage buildings on the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of the Venice Charter). The session was held in the presence of H.E. Eng. Mohamed Abu Saada - Head of the Cultural Coordination Authority at the Ministry of Culture, and a number of senior visitors.
