AASTMT “Sustainable Shipping Forum: Navigating Strategic Transformation in Maritime Industry" at "COP 28"
Within the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport participation in the activities of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 28) that is taking place in Dubai - United Arab Emirates, during the period from 30 November until 12 December 2023. AASTMT “Sustainable Shipping Forum: Navigating Strategic Transformation in Maritime Industry” was held on Wednesday 6- 12- 2023, at the Arab League Pavilion in the Blue Zone.
The forum focused on how recent metamorphosis in shipping practices should harmonize with environmental, economic, and societal sustainability goals, aiming to facilitate the development and implementation of transformative strategies and sustainable practices in maritime operations that ensure a resilient and prosperous future for the maritime industry. As the forum consisted of four presentations given by a number of the AASTMTs Maritime specialized professors.
