AASTMT President Participation in “15th session of the Arab Ministerial Water Council” - “Fifth Arab Water Conference”
H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) participated in the 15th session of the Arab Ministerial Water Council commenced in Riyadh - Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on 22- 11- 2023. As His Excellency participated in the “Fifth Arab Water Conference” that was held on 22 – 23 November 2023, in Riyadh, under the theme "Sustainable development in the Arab region sixth goal: challenges and opportunities". The Council and the conference discussed the challenges hindering water security and sustainable development in the Arab region, in addition to promoting and supporting Arab cooperation in exploiting shared water resources. And that was held in the presence of H.E Ministers of water and water resources in the Arab countries, along with several regional and international partner organizations.
