Conclusion of the Second Edition of “Language and Communication Research Lab Forum"

As keeping on the second edition of Language and Communication Research Lab Forum "LCR" that is organized by Smart Village College of Language and Communication of the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) Smart Village Campus College of Language and Communication, during the period from 9 -11 October 2023, at AASTMT Smart Village Campus, and entitled: “Means of Media, Artificial Intelligence, and Sustainable Development: Future Visions”, the opening ceremony of the forum was held in the presence of H.E. Prof. Dr Ashraf Sobhi – Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports, H.E. Prof. Dr Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag – AASTMT President, H.E. Ambassador Ahmed Rashid Khattabi - Assistant Secretary-General and Head of the Media and Communication Sector, at the League of Arab States, and Prof. Dr Hanan Youssef - Dean of AASTMT Smart Village College of Language and Communication – Head of forum, in addition to an elite of leading academics, experts, researchers and AASTMT Officials.

During the forum's activities, 45 research papers were discussed from 14 countries: Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Algeria, America, Norway, Hungary, Canada, Malaysia, Greece, the Netherlands, Cyprus, the United Kingdom, and Australia. As AASTMT Smart Village College of Language and Communication honored its students with special needs, and shared their success stories within the forum’s activities.

It`s worth to mention that this year forum brings together industry experts and academics to disseminate the technological developments and the scientific research results in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI) across different disciplines and media outlets, with regarding the achievement of the sustainable development goals, and in line with 2030 Sustainable Development Plan that are issued by the United Nations General Assembly.
