AASTMT Participation in the Higher Committee meeting concerned with the Arab Development Summit’s issues,
The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) participated with a high-level delegation, on behalf of H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President, in the Higher Committee meeting concerned with the Arab Development Summit’s issues, from 17th - 20th of July 2023, in Nouakchott - Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
It is worth noting that H.E. Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani - President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania has assigned AASTMT to prepare a study on the blue economy initiative as a solution to the food and energy problem. This will be the main focus of the Mauritanian President’s initiative which will be launched before their Majesties and Excellencies Arab kings and presidents during the activities of the Fifth Session of the Arab Development Summit that will to be held from 6th -7th of November 2023, in Nouakchott - Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
During the meeting activities, the Higher Committee Experts discussed the study assigned to AASTMT. They also praised the distinguished efforts of AASTMT President and AASTMT team of experts, in the presence of a high-level delegation from the Mauritanian side and AASTMT.
