AASTMT Delegation At the Suez Canal Authority
Within the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) distinguished relations with the Suez Canal Authority (SCA), H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag – AASTMT President and AASTMT delegation met H.E. Admiral Osama Rabie - Chairman & Managing Director of the Suez Canal Authority (SCA), on Sunday 19- 3- 2023, at SCA headquarters in Cairo, where they discussed the methods of cooperation that comes with in AASTMT keenness on looking forward to new future prospects.
It`s worth to mention that they discussed the possibility of cooperation to hold a joint workshop that brings all parties to integrate in the field of ship repair and building in the Arab countries. As AASTMT President stressed on the cooperation with Suez Canal can extend to a scientific cooperation through AASTMT technical institutes as to refine students of SCA technical schools experiences and to develop their skills and capabilities in accordance with the requirements of the market.
