AASTMT Delegation At the Suez Canal Authority
Within the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) distinguished relations with the Suez Canal Authority (SCA), H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag – AASTMT President and AASTMT Delegation from AASTMT Academic Staff Members, Officials and Students visited the Suez Canal Authority (SCA), on Saturday 10- 4- 2021, as to meet H.E Admiral Osama Rabie - Chairman & Managing Director of the Suez Canal Authority (SCA), where they discussed the methods of cooperation that comes with in AASTMT keenness on looking forward to new future prospects.
It`s worth to mention that H.E Chairman & Managing Director of the Suez Canal Authority appreciated AASTMT leading scientific role in the field of maritime transport in the Middle East, and stressed on AASTMT important role in preparing cadres with a complete awareness of the requirements of the maritime transport market, then His Excellency presented SCA developments, and emphasized on SCA continuous operations development that maintained Suez Canal position to remain the first choice for major shipping lines, as H.E AASTMT President praised Suez Canal Authority leadership and its employees for their great effort in the continuous development processes, as for successfully dealing with the accident and their dedication to restore the international navigable waterway normally.
