The Departments of Cultural and Social Activities organized (3) scientific trips for students of the Department of Architecture and the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering on 10/30/2023.

With the beginning of the current academic semester, October 2023, scientific trips witnessed “intensive” activity, in an effort to complete the practical side of scientific subjects and to continue cooperation between the Deanship of Student Affairs and the scientific departments in the various colleges, where the Department of Cultural and Social Activity implemented a number of scientific trips in the College of Engineering, including
-1- A trip for students of the Department of Architecture and Environmental Design, accompanied by a number of faculty members in the department, on Monday, 10/30/2023, to visit the housing project in Medina and the American University in Cairo to learn about the structural differences and interior designs.
2- A trip to the architecture department to Rashid to visit the citadel and Rashid Museum, Julian Castle, and the archaeological house of Al-Omsili on Friday 10/13/2023. To see closely the composition of the ancient buildings and the impact of the historical stage of each of them.
3- A scientific visit for students of the Electronics and Communications Engineering Department to the Egyptian satellite company Nilesat on Monday, 10/30/2023.
Students benefited from field visits with the presence of faculty members. Each scientific trip achieves a realistic vision of what they are studying inside the lecture halls. It helps students ask the right questions to make the most of the visit, consolidates the information and clarifies it in their minds, and achieves a link between theoretical academic material and practical application. Thanks to every member. The faculty of the academy in all its various colleges for their continuous efforts with their students and to our colleagues in the Department of Cultural and Social Activities for their excellent organization and supervision of scientific trips and their constant communication with the departments to implement all trips in the most complete manner.
The Deanship of Student Affairs, headed by Professor Dr. Muhammad Mahmoud Abu Al-Azm, Dean of Student Affairs, and Dr. Ahmed Khalifa, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, is a permanent partner and supporter of the various scientific departments to provide and overcome all obstacles to the implementation of scientific activities within the framework of cooperation and integration between the various departments within the Academy to achieve the main goal of the Academy. To create a scientifically and psychologically balanced personality for the academy graduate, in implementation of the general strategy of the academy headed by His Excellency Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, captain and captain of the ship of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.
