Prof. Sara El-Gazzar Dean of College session moderator and organizer at the fifth edition of the World Entrepreneurs Investment Forum 2024 (WEIF)

Prof. Sara El-Gazzar – Dean of College: session moderator and organizer at the fifth edition of the World Entrepreneurs Investment Forum 2024 (WEIF) in Bahrian from 14 to 16 May, concurrently with the Arab Leaders Summit 2024 gathering experts and specialists from around 84 countries.

The WEIF is organized by the UNIDO Investment and Technology Promotion Office in the Kingdom of Bahrain in partnerships with the League of Arab States, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce in Bahrain, the Union of Arab Chambers, the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa, the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce, and a number of local, regional and international partners.

WEIF 2024 aspires to address global challenges, including poverty, inequality, climate change, peace, and justice; within the backdrop of the Sustainable Development Goals. Innovation and economic growth are critical enablers for achieving the SDGs.

Prof. Sara moderatored a session entitled “Progress by Innovation: The Role of Digital Transformation and Innovation in Entrepreneurship”.

On the same occasion, Prof. Sara participated in organizing the “Living Independently Initiative to Support People of Determination” competition, in which entrepreneurs of people of determination or those who have ideas and projects that serve people of determination and help them live independently and face the challenges that may arise in Arab and international societies in the future, participate.
