Computer Engineering Students Win 2nd Place in WE Innovate Hackathon & Qualify to GITEX Dubai 2024
A team of students from the computer engineering department participated in WE Innovate Hackaton, founded by WE Egypt and sponsored by the National Telecom Regularatory Authority (NTRA), the Hackathon was a hands-on competition where teams had to deliver a working proof of concept for a solution relating to one of several cyber security challenges.
The competition took place from the 19th of May to the 21st of May 2024 with a total prize money of LE 150,000. The team managed to win 2nd Place in the Competition and qualified to GITEX Dubai, one of the largest Tech and startups events worldwide. The team consisted of the following AASTMT College of Engineering Computer Department students:
