The visit of Prof. Khaled El-Kilany, Dean of the Industry Service Complex to the TVI’s branch in AASTMT Smart Village Campus.

In line with following up the educational process of the Technical and Vocational Institute (TVI) in all branches, Prof. Khaled El-Kilany, Dean of the Industry Service Complex Dr. Ahmed Shoier, Manager of the Technical and Vocational Institute and Eng. Mohamed Kamoun, Head of the Education Department, visited TVI’s branch in AASTMT Smart Village Campus on November 16, 2022. A meeting with the students was held to welcome the fresh students and to guarantee that all students needs, requirements and inquiries are addressed. Prof. El-Kilany welcomed all students attending the meeting, praised the efforts of all TVI staff, and highlighted the efforts of the complex in exploring new horizons through cooperation with a number of industry partners to offer employment opportunities for TVI graduates. The Dean also stressed the fact that the labour market is in great need to recruit our distinguished graduates. Furthermore, during the meeting, Dr. Shoier announced TVI’s plan to offer training opportunities in industry and also the plan for student activities during the current semester that includes industry visits and joint activities with all TVI students from our three branches including visiting the MacTech Exhibition and participation in the sports day held in TVI’s main campus in Alexandria. Finally, Eng. Kamoun discussed some of the issues raised by the students related to the educational process and the availability of resources required by the students such as access to workshops and lab facilities and availability of materials and components required to carry out their experimental work.
