Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport celebrates the graduation of a class of January and September 2021-2022 from Technical and Vocational Institute students. The Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport celebrated the graduation of a new class of the students of Technical and Vocational Institute, and there number 74 graduates of the nationalities of four countries: Sudan, Syria, Oman, and Egypt. The students obtained an above-average technical diploma degree in mechanics and mechatronics, the graduates have also obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) which was awarded by Pearson International. The celebration was attended by Prof.Dr.Ahmed El-Hewy, Secretary General of the Education Development Fund and Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Technical Education Affairs, Prof.Dr. Ismail Abdelghafar Ismail Farag President of the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport, Ms. Nayra Moloukhia Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Basirty Foundation (the foundation that sponsors 10 graduates today). Ms. Nevein Bokhati, Executive Director of the Edita Foundation for Social Development ( the foundation that sponsors 20 students in the Institute`s branch Smart Village and Port said ), Eng. Mohamed Lotfy, Technical Managing Director of lord international, the great media Mr. Sharif Amer and the presenter of MBC Masr Tv, Mr. Tarek Amin Editor-in-chief of programs on MBC Tv, Prof. Dr. Adel Bilal, Vice President of the Academy for Education and Student Affairs, Prof.Dr. Khaled El.Kilany dean of the Industry Service Complex and Dr. Ahmed Shoier manager of the Technical and Vocational Institute. On behalf of the family of the Industry Service Complex, Professor Dr. Khaled Al-Kilany presented a gift Especially to His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdelghafar Ismail Farag On the occasion of the renewal of the confidence and the continuation of His Excellency in leading the Academy for a new presidential term. Prof.Dr.Ahmed El-Hewy congratulate the students and their families and he expressed his happiness for attending this day he said that is one of the happiest days ever, It is the day of success and excellence, and his excellency congratulations the Academy on the graduation of a new and special class in Technical education and Over fifty years of giving and excellence. Prof.Dr.Ahmed El-Hewy also extended his thanks and appreciation to the parents for choosing the technical education path for their children, this education has been neglected for long ages, but the Academy was one of the most important pioneering institutions in this type of education represented in the Industry Service Complex, pointing out that the technical education provided by the Academy in cooperation with the International Pearson Foundation is a distinct level of technical education, and because of the great belief in the importance of technical and technological education, the state has established ten technological universities. All the existing industrial zones and large national projects need these highly trained and distinguished students to join the labor market. From beside His Excellency the President of the Academy welcomed the attendees and congratulated the students and their families, stressing that the Technical and Vocational Institute is one of the shining models in the field of technical and vocational education in the Arab Republic of Egypt, and that technical education has great importance in Egypt, as it is the base for building Egypt in all areas of life, not just industry. It is urgently needed in Egypt and in the whole world. The president of the Academy said that the class of this year from the Institute is special because of covid year, in such difficult circumstances, they did not hesitate to acquire educational and technical skills and were able to express them with success and distinction. His Excellency also said that the Academy these days is celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of giving and success.
