Urban Lab Camp Alexandria: Sustainable Mobility

AASTMT-UPGRADE team participated in an Urban Lab Camp organized by Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Foundation in Alexandria.

In its third edition, the Urban Lab Camp discussed the challenges and opportunities of sustainable transport in Egypt. Young people from different governorates who specialize in urban planning, transportation, and urban design were invited to participate in this event.

The AASTMT-UPGRADE team participated in two sessions. The first session consisted of highlighting the UPGRADE project and discussing several challenges and opportunities for the sustainable urban mobility in Egypt. The second session was a joint exercise with TfC introducing the concept of SUMP (Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning).
