Computer Engineering LIVE Webinar on Cloud Technology and Future Directions.

In presence of Prof. Dr. Sherine Youssef - head of computer engineering department - AAST - a training webinar was organized in cooperation with Amazon Web Services (AWS), entitled: "Amazon Web Services cloud: The New Normal"

The workshop was moderated by Prof. Dr. Sherine Youssef and Dr. Dalia Mohamed Sobhi - a lecturer in the Department of Computer Engineering and, has outstanding research experience in cloud computing systems and software engineering-, with the participation of Eng. Mohamed Heiba, an expert and consultant for development operations in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) group. He has more than ten years of experience in cloud computing, working with large organizations to create a well-designed cloud infrastructure and providing advice to companies on how the cloud is valued and resilient.

The webinar had many fruitful discussions and positive interactions from the participants, including students, faculty, alumni, and postgraduate students.

The webinar was also attended by Prof.Dr. Akram Suleiman Al-Salmy, Dean of the College of Engineering and Technology, thanked the speakers and the organizing committee of the department. Also, he praised the topic of the webinar and its importance in linking the college’s students to the labor market.
