The end of summer training Celebration

In a friendly gathering with the students, the College of Pharmacy, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Evan Saad, Dean of the College and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Head of the Educational Department, celebrated the completion of the first mandatory summer training during the summer of 2022.
Our gathering included the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Shayeb, Dean of Students Affairs in El Alamein, and Prof. Dr. El-Sayed Aboul Magd Professor of Microbiology.
Prof. Dr. Evan Saad - Dean of the college - briefed the gathering about the training, the stages of its preparation, along with the benefits expected to be gained by the students.
On the other hand, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman discussed in details the preparations involved in the training process, starting from preparing a comprehensive training guide for students, then cooperating with the Syndicate to choose the ideal pharmacies, all the way to dividing the students in groups and assigning them to our training supervisors Dr. Omnia Mohamed, Dr. Heba El Sayed, Dr. Sameh Derbala, Dr. Aya El-Kholy, who made a great effort in both follow-up and training.
Next, Dr. Mohamed Onsi Al-Shafei, the head of the Pharmacists’ Syndicate in Alexandria, advised the students to take each training opportunity seriously and aim to get the best out of it. Added to that, some representatives of the students spoke about their experiences.
By the end of the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman’s award was presented to the students who won the first place in the Alexandria University Conference (PHS 2022). They are Sondos Mohamed, Fatima Atallah, and Ruba Essam, under the supervision of the assistant Lecturer, Omnia Mohamed. A cheque worth three thousand Egyptian pounds was awarded In recognition of their achievement.
