A scientific lecture on the typical journey of a drug from discovery to its release in the market (A life of a drug, from Discovery to Market)

On Sunday, May 22nd, 2022, Prof. Evan Saad, Dean of the College, welcomed Dr. Ashraf El-Feki, a pharmacovigilance and clinical development consultant, and a former Fellow of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), to present a lecture on the drug journey from discovery to its marketing.
This was followed by a general discussion in which college members and students participated. Dr. Feki expressed his admiration for the huge capabilities that the Arab Academy provides to its students, which are no less than their international counterparts.
The guest was received by Prof. Mustafa Hussein, President Consultant for Education Affairs Alamein Branch, Prof. Ali Fahmy, Dean of the College of Artificial Intelligence, Dr. Sohair Al-Halafawi, President Consultant for Logistics, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Professor of Pharmaceutics, Prof. Amal Galal, Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. El-Sayed AboulMagd, Professor of Microbiology and Immunology, Dr Mohamed El-Shayeb, Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Hala Fouad, Assistant Professor Pharmaceutical chemistry along with some teaching Assistants.
