The President of AASTMT Makes an Official Visit to Shandong Port in China

On Friday  12^th July,2024  Professor. Ismail Abd El Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of Arab Academy for Science & Technology & Maritime Transport , made an official visit to the Governor of Shandong Province in the People's Republic of China, H.E. Mr. Zhao Haozhi, as part of an invitation from the Shandong Port Group. He was accompanied by Professor. Alaa Morsy, Dean ,Port Training Institute & Maritime Research & Consultation Center, and Dr. Abeer Murad, Director of Institutional Communication.

This visit continues the cooperation between the Academy, Port Training Institute, and the Shandong Port Group, where the institute serves as a center of excellence for the technical college affiliated with Qingdao Port. The meeting discussed various areas of collaboration between Shandong Province and the Academy, which is an organization under the Arab League

Professor .Ismail Abd El Ghaffar emphasized the role of the Arab Academy in supporting the strengthening of Egyptian-Chinese relations.

H.E. Mr. Fan Qizhi, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Qingdao Municipal Government

H.E. Mr. Han Enze, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC SPG Committee and Deputy General Manager of SPG

H.E. Mr. Du Honglei, Senior Director of the International Cooperation Department of SPG

H.E. Mr. Xu Guowang, Secretary of the CPC SPVEG Committee, Chairman of SPVEG, Secretary of the CPC QHVTC Committee

H.E. Mr. Zhou Guanzhong, Vice President of QHVTC

A number of senior leaders from the Qingdao government and officials from the Shandong Port Group and the Qingdao Technical College were also present.

At the end of the meeting, both parties exchanged commemorative plaques.
