Finals of "Modern Pentathlon Championship" activities at AASTMT AbuKir Campus

The finals of activities of UIPM Pentathlon Junior World Championships 2024 were held at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) AbuKir Campus - Alexandria. AASTMT organized the Championship during the period from 25 – 30 June 2024, at AASTMT AbuKir Campus in Alexandria, with the participation of 170 players from 42 countries.

Medals were distributed and the accomplishments of Egyptian junior competitors were recognized during the closing ceremony. Appreciation was extended to all those engaged in the championship's organization, led by AASTMT, for their exceptional efforts in ensuring that the competition was run as smoothly as possible. The closing activities were held in the presence of H.E. Dr. Ashraf Sobhi - Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports, H.E. Klaus Schürmann - President of the International Modern Pentathlon Federation, H.E. Eng. Sherif El-Erian - President of the Egyptian Modern Pentathlon Federation (EMPF), H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail - AASTMT President, H.E. Major General Ahmed Nasser - President of the Federation of Arab Federations and President of the Federation of African Confederations (OXA), H.E. Mr. Walid Khalil - President of the Arab Federation of Modern Pentathlon, H.E. Major General Hazem Al-Damhouji - Vice President of EMPF, in addition to EMPF officials and AASTMT officials.
