College of Engineering Hosts Symposium on the Preservation and Restoration of Heritage Buildings

College of Engineering Heliopolis hosts the Scientific Symposium on the Preservation and Restoration of Heritage Buildings, which was held as a celebration for "Sixty years since the Venice Charter".


• Honored by Her Excellency Professor Dr. Yasmine Salah El-Din Fouad - Minister of the Environment, Her Highness Princess Dana Firas, Vice President of the International Council of Monuments, ICOMOS Heritage Sites and Head of the Arab Group, His Excellency Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail, President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, His Excellency Eng. Muhammad Abu Saada, Head of the Civilizational Coordination Agency at the Ministry of Culture, Professor Dr. Yasser Galal, Dean of the College of Engineering and Technology, and a group of deans and professors of the academy.

• The event discussed many topics highlighting the importance of heritage building conservation in addition to a workshop. The event began with the opening of an exhibition which contained the works of students from the College of Engineering and Technology, Department of Architecture.
