Visit of the Dean of Port Training Institute and Research and Consultation Center for the Maritime Transport Sector, AASTMT to King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam, Saudi Arabia

As part of opening new horizons in the field of training and consultancy, Professor. Alaa Mahmoud Morsy, Dean of Port Training Institute and Maritime Research and Consultation Center of Transport Sector at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, accompanied by Mr. Ehab Hamdy, Director of Financial Affairs at the Institute, visited King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. During the visit, they met with Mr. Rakan, Deputy Director of Dammam Port, as well as the Training Director and the Human Resources Director. They also communicated with the HR Director of the General Ports Authority in Saudi Arabia and the Saudi Container Company. Professor. Alaa Morsy, Dean of the Institute, discussed areas of cooperation and presented Mr. Rakan, the Deputy Director of Dammam Port, with the Institute's shield. Additionally, during the visit, they visited the Ports Academy in Dammam to open more opportunities in the field of training with Arab companies.

Professor. Alaa Mahmoud Morsy also visited Globe Marine Company, where they discussed ways of cooperation between the company and Port Training Institute and agreed to activate a strong partnership with the Institute. During the same tour, in the context of opening new horizons in the field of research and consultancy with Arab companies, he visited Osama Bin Azraq Foundation and met with Mr. Osama Bin Azraq, Chairman of the Board. They discussed agreeing to activate a strong partnership with the Research and Consultancy Center. It is worth noting that this foundation is considered one of the largest contracting and consultancy firms in Saudi Arabia. Professor Dr. Alaa Morsy presented Mr. Osama with the shield of the Institute and the Center. The tour concluded with a visit to Hassan Harbi Foundation (Hasco Group) in Dammam
