As part of the activities of the 29th Scientific Conference of the College of Mass Communication at Cairo University

As part of the activities of the 29th Scientific Conference of the College of Mass Communication at Cairo University, themed "Media and Transition towards Green Economy," Prof. Dr. Abeer Refki, Dean of the College of Language and Communication in Alexandria, participated in a discussion session titled "Recent Research Trends in the Field of Green Economy." The session was chaired by Dr. Mona El Hadidy, with Dr. Saber Suleiman as the commentator and Dr. Tarek Fathallah as the rapporteur.

Prof. Abeer delivered a speech on increasing awareness of the green economy and Egypt's journey towards sustainable development. She emphasized that the state apparatus voluntarily leans towards the green economy, highlighting the significance of the "Towards Green" initiative as a reflection of the Egyptian state's official efforts. Additionally, she stressed that the green economy helps align with sustainable development efforts.

Prof. Abeer also attended other discussion sessions in which the College of Language and Communication in Alexandria participated. She attended a session with Assistant Prof. Dr. Bassant Attia, head of the media department, and another session where students presented research papers under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Fatema Al Zahraa El Sayed. She encouraged their participation, wishing the department further success and excellence.
