AASTMT Recognized in the prestigious QS World University Rankings by Subject.
The 2024 edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject features 55 individual subjects across five broad subject areas. 1,559 institutions have been ranked across these subjects this year. We are thrilled to announce that AASTMT was recognized by QS in subject areas. This effort was also recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education for excellence by ‘Subject Area’. This year AASTMT has been recognized by subject area in the fields of Petroleum Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Computer Science and Information Systems.
The QS World University Rankings by ‘Subject Area’ assesses universities across a wide range of academic disciplines or subject areas, such as Engineering & Technology, Natural Sciences, Arts & Humanities, Social Sciences & Management, and Life Sciences & Medicine. Each subject area ranking evaluates universities based on their performance and reputation within that specific field.
In addition, AAST was amongst the only two non-public universities recognized and congratulated for subject performance by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education (read more here).  This outstanding performance in the QS ranking reflects the hard work and expertise of AASTMT faculty, researchers, and students. It reaffirms AASTMT's position as a leader in these disciplines and underscores AASTMT's impact on the global academic community.
