A delegation from the (DA-TC2) Container Terminal visited Port Training Institute, aiming to enhance collaboration between container terminals  and Port Training Institute. The delegation, led by Mr. Antonio Capello, the Terminal director, was welcomed on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, by Prof. Alaa Mahmoud Morsy, dean of Port Training Institute, and institute  senior officials. The guests were taken to the meeting hall, where a documentary about the institute and its capabilities was presented. Prof. Alaa Mahmoud Morsy, then delivered a welcoming speech, outlining the institute's vision for training and preparing youth for the external job market, along with international programs offered in collaboration with major institutions. Discussions revolved around collaboration in training and education, including a tour of labs, workshops, and the port equipment simulator complex. The delegation praised the institute's facilities and progress, highlighting the institute's commitment to establishing strong partnerships with various container terminals to expand its training services for maritime and shipping personnel.
