"AASTMT - Nile of Hope Organization" Cooperation

Within the framework of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport’s (AASTMT) keenness on always looking forward to new future horizons, H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President welcomed H.E. Mr. Karram Kordy - Chairman of the Board of of the Nile of Hope Organization and an accompanying delegation from the Nile of Hope Organization for Community Service and Development on Thursday 17- 8- 2023, at AASTMT Alamein Campus, as the Nile of Hope Hospital in Alexandria is the first to specialize in providing free pediatric surgeries and congenital anomalies in Egypt and Africa.

During the meeting, different ways of cooperation were disscussed as a cooperation agreement between AASTMT and the Nile of Hope Organization was signed, where the agreement aims at strengthening the cooperation in the fields of: scientific research, training, effective community involvement in scientific conferences and exchanging expertise in therapeutic and clinical areas. The agreement was held  in the presence of H.E. Major General Khaled Shuaib - Governor of Matrouh, H.E. Mr. Yang Yi - Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Alexandria, H.E. Prof. Dr. Saber Wahib - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Nile of Hope Hospital, in addition to a group of AASTMT Senior Officials. The attendees also went on an inspection tour at AASTMT Alamein Campus for the Colleges of Dentistry, Pharmacy, Human Medicine, Artificial Intelligence, the Virtual Hospital and the Dental Clinics, as they paricipated in the opening ceremony of the first conference of the College of Dentistry at AASTMT Alamein Campus.
