Cooperation agreement between the Ports Training Institute and the Free Zone in Misratah to organize an international conference in the field of ports and free zones.

On Wednesday, May 31, 2023, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Ports Training Institute and the Free Zone in Misratah  to organize an international conference in the field of ports and free zones. Eng. Ayman Eldrouish, the General Manager of the Free Zone in Misratah, signed the agreement on behalf of the Free Zone, while Dr. Essam El-Din Moustafa, the Head of unplanned Programs and Marketing Departments, signed on behalf of the Ports Training Institute, representing Prof. Dr. Alaa Mahmoud Morsy, the Dean of the Ports Training Institute.

This agreement aims to organize an international conference on ports and free zones, accompanied by an international exhibition, which will take place at the conference hall of the Free Zone in Misratah. The conference, titled "Modern Global Trends and Their Role in Enhancing the Competitiveness of Libyan Ports and Free Zones," is scheduled to be held from November 18 to 20, 2023.

This initiative is part of the Free Zone's commitment to developing and supporting the ports and free zones system in order to capitalize on Libya's strategic and competitive geographical position, achieving sustainable development and promoting the national economy. It also aims to benefit from the expertise of the Ports Training Institute, which is one of the leading institutions in this field in the Middle East and North Africa region. The institute possesses specialized human resources and excellent international relationships with major global entities in the field of ports and maritime transport.
