Computer Engineering students visited Valeo Automotive International

The students of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport was inform on the latest techniques used in the field of self-driving vehicles and artificial intelligence technology.
"Although the artificial intelligence technologyIt is applied amazingly quickly in different sectors its use in the automotive sector has a particular nature." In this regard, under the auspices of Prof. Ismail Abdul Ghaffar , President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport , the Department of Computer Engineering - Faculty of Engineering and Technology - Alexandria Branch organised a visit to Valeo Automotive International, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Sherine Yousef - Head of Computer Engineering Department.
During the visit, the students learned about the latest techniques used in the field of self-driving vehicles through the application of artificial intelligence technology In the design of the smart bus driving.
During the visit the students of the Academy made a tour through the various sections of the company before attending a presentation in order to acquaint students the latest techniques and modern scientific methods in this area.
After the visit, Prof. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar, the President of the Academy, was keen to receive his students `sons and exchanged discussions with them in what they saw and he spoke with them in nanotechnology and its relation with the future. He also praised the students` interest in learning news in this science.
