Winners of the Arab entrepreneurship rally, on the Forbes Middle East 2022 lists

Winners of the Arab entrepreneurship rally, on the Forbes Middle East 2022 lists, under 30 years old, for the most influential in the social field.

In a new success story for the graduates of the Arab entrepreneurship rally competition, Forbes magazine announced the most influential and creative young people who have made their mark in the region and beyond.
In its social impact category, the list included Wadah mullaab from Lebanon and Hassan Haraki from Syria, the winners of the first place in the Arab entrepreneurship rally competition in Bahrain 2019 and Dubai 2022, respectively.
The Arab Academy for science and technology, the Federation of Arab chambers and the UNIDO investment and Technology Promotion Office in Bahrain congratulated the winners, wishing them further progress, as they are an inspiring model for Arab youth.


Wadah Malab, from Lebanon, is the founder of the Biosystems DLOC project, and the idea of the project is to design a biological chip that allows human cells to grow in an environment similar to the human body. This allows the testing of drugs and their effects, before testing them on humans, so that the transplanted human cells can grow and organize themselves to form three-dimensional tissues, which in turn resemble and represent many human tissues and organs such as lung, breast, kidney and others.

Hassan al-Haraki, from Syria, the founding partner of the Bivol platform, which won first place for the second edition of the Arab rally, 2022, and ”Bivol“ is an interactive and independent international social media platform that promotes the culture of volunteering and enhances the performance of social responsibility, by providing mechanisms linking volunteers and actors through an innovative technological system.

The Arab entrepreneurship rally is an initiative for distinguished Arab and regional cooperation Sponsored by the league of Arab states, in a strategic partnership between the Arab Academy, the General Federation of Arab chambers, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization - UNIDO – Bahrain and sponsored by the Bahrain and Dubai Chamber of Commerce and industry, the National Bank of Egypt and other Arab actors, where dozens of young entrepreneurs, university students and graduates, from more than twenty Arab countries participated in the competition, with the aim of linking them to the needs of the labor market and creating more opportunities to contribute to sustainable development in the Arab region.
