Press conference, to announce the details of New Round of “Arab Rally Entrepreneurship Competition 2021”

The press conference for the launch of the "Arab Rally" Entrepreneurs Competition was held on 13/10/2021 at the headquarters of the League of Arab states, the competition scheduled to be held under the auspices of the league of Arab states and jointly organized by Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, The Federation of Arab Chambers, the Office of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO- Bahrain) and the Chamber of Commerce Bahrain`s industry during January 2022 on the sidelines of one of the largest and most important commercial and investment events in the Arab world, Dubai Expo 2020, scheduled to be held in Dubai/ UAE from 11/10/2021-31/3/2022.

The event was held in the presence of Ambassador Dr. Kamal Hassan Ali, Assistant Secretary General and Head of Economic Affairs Sector, Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Faraj, President of the Arab Academy for science and technology and Maritime Transport, Dr. Khalid Hanafi, Secretary General of the Union of Arab Chambers, Mr. Dr. Hashim Hussein, Head of the Investment and Technology Promotion Office of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Bahrain.

HE Dr. Ismail Abdul Ghaffar, president of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), thanked the league of Arab states for its sponsorship of the competition and all the partners, the Federation of Arab chambers, UNIDO Bahrain and Bahrain Chamber for their role in the success of the first edition of this competition,
hoping that this edition will achieve further successes, especially as it will be held within the unique global event "Expo Dubai 2022”.

He added that this competition comes on the basis of the great success of the first edition, which was hosted by the Bahraini capital Manama last year, and based on the role of the Arab Academy in supporting youth and students of Arab universities, considering the Arab Academy as a scientific edifice and a house of great expertise, pointing out that the Academy has great: TheSupply chain incubator, which is the first incubator of its kind, and the tourism incubator, which is implemented in cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of tourism to support tourism in Egypt, and the incubator for young students of the academy, as well as the establishment of new incubators in the fields of Agri Business, Industry, and Artificial Intelligence, pointing that the academy was proactive in establishing the first Faculty of artificial intelligence in Egypt and the Arab world, to build and prepare professional cadres in this vital and important field, which is the nerve of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
