BEYOND LECTURE HALL#26: Introduction to Accessibility and Design for the Elderly

One of the best architectural practices is to make sure that all building users are considered in the design. In this lecture, we will learn about People with Disabilities, how to design an accessible built-environment for them, how other building users benefit from the accessible design, and some basic concepts to design for the Elderly. Arch. Abouward is an Architectural Engineer and a Certified Accessibility Consultant. His international experience includes working in Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States of America. He is the Founder of "SPIRIT OF ARCHITECTURE |SOA|," specialized in Built-Environment Accessibility and Building/Life Safety Code Consultancy.
