Starting tomorrow the International Conference on Maritime Transport and Logistics Marlog 6

Under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. / Ahmed Aboul Gheit - Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, HE Prof. Dr. / Hisham Arafat Egyptian Minister of Transport opens tomorrow Sunday, March 19 the International Conference on Maritime Transport and Logistics Marlog 6 under the theme: "Global Integration in Ports" in Hilton Green Plaza Alexandria and continue the conference until March 21 and organized by the port training Institute and the Centre for research and consultancy for the maritime transport sector in the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime transport in the presence of ministers led by HE Prof. Dr. / Hisham Arafat Minister of transport and His Excellency Admiral / Mohab Mamish head of the Suez Canal Authority, HE Prof. Dr. / Ali Meselhy Minister of Supply & internal trade, HE Prof. Dr. Cleopatra Domibia Henry, head of the international Maritime University, HE Mr. / Theuamas Jawarda, Ambassador of Panama, Arab Republic of Egypt, HE Dr. Dina Elthaher director of transport and tourism sector and economic Arab League management, and His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Sultan, Governor of Alexandria and Prof. Dr. / Ismail Abdul Ghafar Ismail Faraj, head of the conference and Head of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime transport and heads of ports and the heads of major companies operating in the shipping and ports sector in Egypt and the Arab states companies, and the consuls of Arab and foreign countries and cultural attaches and business partners.
Marlog 6 aims to argue integration as a business management strategy, would assist in facing the market rapid changes, while creating benefits of lowering the cost and increasing economies of scale as well as reducing the duplication of resources within the integrated ports

Therefore, the international conference Marlog 6 is looking forward to The competitive seaports activities position is determined by its competitive offering to host shippers and shipping lines for specific trade routes, beside maritime logistics providers in geographical region which different port terminals is connected, in addition to different several factors that include the port capacity, shipping alliance, trade direction, port dues and charges, hinterland, transportation connections and the role of logistics with its value trade activities and its facilities.
