Port Training Institute participation in the Global Maritime Festival Day 2016 in Saudi Arabia

Under the auspices of His Royal Highness,Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz the Prince of the Eastern Province, the Festival of the World Maritime Day 2016 forthe Kingdom of Saudi Arabiaunder the title of “Indispensable Maritime Transport of the World”, which was held at the city of Khobar during the period from 25th to 29th of September 2016 in the presence of H.E. Prof. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag, President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, Head of the executive committee of Port Training Institute,and Prof.Akram Solimanm Elselmy, Dean of Port Training Institute
This year`s celebration coincides with the pursuit of maritime transport system in the KSA to achieve the first strategic objective of sectors of transport in the context of the KSA plan in 2030 to be global logistical hub of the dandy and thanks to what is owned by the Kingdom of the commercial and industrial ports with huge & sophisticated infrastructure provided with the latest equipment and the best services according to the highest international standards and specifications.
Prof. Akram Soliman had presented a research paper entitled “Procedures to provide qualified cadres with respect to the global criteria required for working in the shipping and ports sector”in the seminar, which was held on the sidelines of the World Maritime Day Festival , under the title of:“Maritime Transport with Reference to the Kingdom`s Vision 2030”
