AASTMT participation in the Global Maritime Festival Day 2016 in Saudi Arabia
H.E Prof. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag, President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport attended the Festival of the World Maritime Day 2016 for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which was held this year under the title of " Indispensable Maritime Transport of the World", at the city of Khobar during the period from 25th to 29th of September 2016 in acceptance to the gracious invitation of Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern region and the sponsor of the maritime day.
This year`s celebration coincides with the pursuit of maritime transport system in the KSA to achieve the first strategic objective of sectors of transport in the context of the KSA plan in 2030 to be global logistical hub of the dandy and thanks to what is owned by the Kingdom of the commercial and industrial ports with huge & sophisticated infrastructure provided with the latest equipment and the best services according to the highest international standards and specifications.
It was His Royal Highness Prince,Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province to honor Prof. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag by giving his Excellency the festival shield, for the efforts the Arab academy play in the maritime transport sector service in the regional and Arab level
