AASTMT President - His Holiness Pope Tawadros II “Meeting”

H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) and AASTMT delegation visited His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, at Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Abbassia District in Cairo, on Wednesday 22- 2- 2023. H.E. AASTMT President and His Holiness Pope Tawadros II discussed the different means of cooperation, as AASTMT delegation presented a number of distinguished projects of AASTMT young researchers, where His Holiness praised AASTMT advanced mechanisms of study and AASTMT keenness to establish new disciplines according to the latest scientific standards.
It is worth to mention that this visit coincides with the visit of His Holiness the Pope to AASTMT Abu Qir Campus in Alexandria, on 22- 2- 2020, as AASTMT President stressed on his keenness to visit His Holiness on this day every year. At the end of the visit, H.E. AASTMT President gifted His Holiness Pope Tawadros II a shield on the occasion of AASTMT 50th anniversary of establishment.
