Opening Session of the 11th International Maritime and Logistics conference (MARLOG 2022)

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) announces the opening of the 11th International Maritime and Logistics conference (MARLOG 2022) that is held under the auspices of H.E Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit - Secretary General of the League of Arab States, and H.E Lieutenant-General Kamel ElWazir - Egyptian Minister of transportation, during 20 – 22 March 2022, at Hilton Green Plaza Hotel – Alexandria, and entitled “Towards a Sustainable Blue Economy”, as MARLOG 2022 is organized by AASTMT in cooperation with Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone), the International Association of Ports and Harbors (IAPH), MEDPorts Association, the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), Valenciaport Foundation for Research, Promotion and Commercial Studies of the Valencian region (Valenciaport Foundation), Antwerp/Flanders Port Training Center, and Global Shipping Think Tank Alliance, as the conference will shed light on the sustainable Blue economy as well as the related activities which have effects on maritime transport and logistics.
"MARLOG 2022" opening session was held in the presence of H.E Lieutenant-General Kamel ElWazir - Egyptian Minister of transportation, H.E Mr. Hisham Ali Abu Zeid - Sudan Minister of transportation, H.E Admiral Osama Rabie - Chairman and Managing Director of the Suez Canal Authority, Osama Rabie, H.E Dr. Cleopatra Dombia Henry - President of the International Maritime University, H.E Dr. Dina Al-Zaher - Director of Transport and Tourism Department in the League of Arab States, H.E Major General Mohamed El-Sherif - Governor of Alexandria, H.E Major General Adel Al-Ghadban - Governor of Port Said, H.E Major General Khaled Shuaib - Governor of Matrouh, in addition to participants and specialists at the Local, regional and international levels, whether by attendance or through the online platform.
