AASTMT President Participates in The Third China-Arab States BDS Cooperation Forum

H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail - President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) participated in the "Third China-Arab States BeiDou (BDS) Navigation Satellite System Cooperation Forum (CASBCF) that was held on Wednesday 08- 12- 2021, in Beijing - China, and through Video Conference System for Arab countries.
The Forum that entitled "Applying BeiDou for a shared win-win future" was jointly held by the China Satellite Navigation Office, the Office of Chinese Secretariat of China – Arab States Cooperation Forum, the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States and the Arab Information & Communication Technology Organization, in the presence of Officials of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Officials of the Arab countries ministries of foreign affairs and communications, heads and representatives of specialized Arab Organizations, countries members of the League of Arab States, and international organizations, as well as a number of Chinese and Arab governmental sectors, research institutions and companies, as to discuss the potential and prospects of cooperation in the field of satellite navigation between China and Arab countries .
