AASTMT President Participates in the inauguration of the interactive conference for Technology and Persons with Disabilities

Within the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) interest to preserve the gains it has achieved and its status at all levels, local, Arab and international, to keep up with the modern changes and to achieve excellence and the ability to meet the requirements of development, H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President participated in the interactive conference for Technology and Persons with Disabilities and the Exhibition of the Inventions and Technological Innovations for Persons with Disabilities in the Arab Region that was held under the slogan "Towards supporting full inclusion and enhancing empowerment", on Friday 3- 12- 2021, at Expo 2020 Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The conference was Co-curated with the UAE Ministry of Community Development and in partnership with the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), and in cooperation with the Arab Labor Organization, the Social Affairs Sector of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, the United Nations Population Fund and AASTMT, on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD), as well as for supporting the efforts of Arab countries to empower persons with disabilities and to create an Arab platform to promote innovations in the field of assistive technology for persons with disabilities.
