Visit students of the College of International Transport and Logistics in Alamein to October Dry Port

We always invest in Arab Academy students to provide young professional and distinguished cadres to work and lead in the field of logistics and supply chain management in Egypt ???????? and the Arab world.
The Faculty of International Transport and Logistics in El Alamein organized a scientific increase on Wednesday, 8/3/2023 for October Dry Port as one of the national projects in the field of transport and logistics, which is directly related to the academic disciplines of the faculty.
October Dry Port of the General Authority
The Egyptian Ministry of Transport is in fruitful partnership with October Dry Port Company, consisting of the consortium of ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC, a leading provider of integrated energy, infrastructure and digital solutions in the Middle East and Africa, and DB Schenker, a German company in the field of logistics and multimodal transport, funded by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
The port aims to achieve several economic, developmental and environmental factors, including the development of industrial zones logistically, and the provision of direct and indirect job opportunities in the logistics sector, in order to achieve the necessary efficiency, in addition to increasing the movement of trading in seaports, preventing the accumulation of containers in them, in addition to accelerating the work cycle of supply chains for exports and imports.
The dry port contributes to the digital transformation of the movement of goods, reducing the costs of delaying containers in ports and the resulting increase in product costs, as well as providing added services to the logistics sector, and will also contribute to reducing road and hub congestion with truck traffic, reducing accidents resulting from them, and reducing harmful environmental emissions from carbon dioxide.
