AASTMT Participation in Session (54) of Higher Coordination Committee for the Joint Arab Action
H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), and headed of a high-level delegation participated in the activities of session (54) of the Higher Coordinating Committee for Arab Joint Action chaired by H.E. Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit - Secretary General of the League of Arab States that was held during the period from 24 - 26 January 2023, in Abu Dhabi - United Arab Emirates.
The meetings of session (54) of Higher Coordination Committee for the Joint Arab Action was held under the pataronage and in the presence of His Highness Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan - First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the United Arab Emirates, and Supreme President of the Arab Union for Digital Economy, and in the presence of H.E. Ambassador Hossam Zaki - Assistant Secretary General and Head of the Secretary-General`s Office Sector, H.E. Ambassador Plenipotentiary Mohamed Khair - Director of Arab organizations and unions of the League of Arab States, H.E. Dr. Ali Al-Khoury - President of the Arab Union for Digital Economy, and Prof. Dr. Moustafa Rashid - Economic Advisor and Assistant to AASTMT President of the Academy, with the participation of H.E Heads and Directors of organizations and institutions of joint Arab action.
It is worth to mention that the meetings discussed many topics related to supporting and strengthening the joint Arab action, including the Arab food security with regarding to the climate changes, the most important results of the 31st session of the League of Arab States Council at the summit level, the results of the climate summit cop27, and the Arab strategy for cybersecurity, in addition to the most important initiatives presented by some organizations and institutions of joint Arab action as to be proposed in the Arab development summit that will be be held in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania in 2023, as well as the most important results of the international media conference that was held in the Republic of Tunisia in January 2023.
