Description

This course introduces students to problems that occur in large scale software production. The course examines technical aspects of software development life cycle and stresses a model driven approach to software engineering. Formal (mathematical and logic based) approaches to software modeling are covered and emphasized. The course shows how to apply the main Software Engineering Models in real software projects through a number of case studies. The student will study the latest models in software engineering and how could it be used in his research work. The latest in cost estimation, productivity, quality, reuse and software reengineering models are studied and discussed.
