The course reviews the basics of modeling and examines in depth the concepts, methods, and tools of polygonal modeling and NURBS (Non-uniform rational B-Spline) modeling in 3D. Students new to 3D modeling become acquainted with the basic terms of 3D modeling and components, three-dimensional modeling concepts. Based on this foundation of knowledge, students proceed to experimenting with modeling using NURBS surfaces. Applying this geometry type, students create curves and surfaces to build up their models.
